kicker does make decent products. and those are good prices. if you get kicker i would order from there is all. most places dont have kicker that cheap. especially local shops. best buy wanted 400 and something for an amp similar to the 500.1

Just verify with kicker if they are authorized. I don't care what the seller says,i care what the mfr will honor. No authorized, no warranty.

oh man just called soniceletronix they told me if i wanted to tap the back speaker to have the amp sense the auto turn on feature that i would need a LOC other wise it would be a "mickey mouse installation".

heres the amp
Kicker ZX400.1 (10ZX400.1) Class D Mono Amplifier Car Amp

heres some pics of the amp, i do not see where i could plug in speaker wire from rear speakers into, UNLESS i need a LOC then i can go RCA input in.

This is all very fustrating i wish i could just call someone and talk to them in person to clarify things :P

that amp does require an loc or that harness for the high level inputs from what i can tell. most amps in your price range will require an loc.

that kenwood i linked however does have high level inputs. and an auto sense turn on.

this seems to be my best bet is this kenwood, seems like it will do the job just fine and work for my application its sold from amazon and disturbed by a company called hookedontronics

Amazon.com: Kenwood Kac-8105D 1000-Watt Class D Mono Amplifier: Electronics

debating if its worth buying from them or pay more money and go through crutchfield or soniceletronix

Some amps let you just put RCA ends on speaker wire and you can give high level inputs that way. The owners manual will tell you for sure.

Yes, I read owners manuals before I buy. That way I know what it can and can't do.

LOC and auto-turn on is just fine.
