Hello, I just installed a new stereo in my 1993 Accord. When I connect the harness, while the car is turned on the stereo will power up for a few seconds, the antenna will begin to rise, and then it will power back down. If I remove the harness for a few seconds, then reinsert it will continue to do the above. Any ideas on what the issue may be?

 

Thats weird.

First thing is to check and re-check your wiring and make sure youve got all the right wires to the right places.

Assuming everything is wired properly, it sounds like a problem with the HU itself.
