I got really gay stock speakers. It makes that KKrringgggggg noise. So i am thinking of changing the speakers. I think there is 2 speakers in the front and 2 more in the back? If anyone could suggest any good speakers for me that sound be great. I ain't rich either so some fairly priced ones will be nice.

 

Sony Xplod, Pioneer, etc are nice upgrades

 

Front - 6 1/2
Rear - 6x9

Alpine, Audiobahn are two quality speaker manufacturers.

Alpines go for around 119-159.
Audiobahns go for around 109-169.

 

do i need anything if i change my speakers? Don't know much so just worried i might change something while i had to change some else such as a HU or whatever. Is it ok just to change the speakers?

 

Just go for it, it will sound totaly different from stock.

i was looking at pioneer speakers. And i was comparing them can anyone help me see the pro and cons of TS-D901P v.s TS-D691R and from the winner of thoso against this one TS-A6991R the first two are D series and the third one is from the A series. But the A series supposely worse since its lower then D series has 5 way speaker. Anyone help me here? The size is 6 x 9

 

The ones i suggest and swear by are Eminence alpha-6a's they dont look that great but considering they are concert speakers they will blow any other speaker away, and they are only about $50 a piece (maybe a bit pricey but definitely worth it). And another great buy is the Pyramid TW46 Bullet tweeter. They are cheap and amazing. Hope that helps.

 

A guy down the block put Alpines in his truck and they sounded really nice. There also the only speakers he's never blown out ^^
