2002 accord speaker question
i am looking to upgrade my speakers and get a subwoofer for my 2002 accord, i already have a pioneer AVH-P4000DVD deck. My main question is that i know for a subwoofer i am going to need an amp. Do i really need an amp for after market speakers? if i dont put an amp for my speakers is there any difference?

Hi, what an awesome question.
You should review my 2001 Accord build log (link in sig) for examples of what's possible.
I always install an amp for my speakers, head units only produce a usable 5W RMS (despite their ratings). Music that is loud and clean will always require an amp on speakers.
If you didn't add a sub, you'd be ok on just a head unit, but even in cars without subs I install amps.
