Default 2003 radio/cd not working

I am having a lot of problems with my car so I do not have a lot of money to spend on a radio or really anything. I like the look of the stock radio rather than a aftermarket radio anyway. The radio works but the cd button is not responding. It randomly just stopped working a couple days ago. The load, eject or cd/aux button seems like they are not responding. Also, if I click mode on the steering wheel, it will skip over my CDs. I have three CDs in the changer. I have tried disconnecting the battery and to just let it sit for a while but this didn't work. All this did was take away the signals on the radio that I have 3 CDs in. I have read that it could be jammed? But that doesn't make much sense to me. Just checking if you guys have any suggestions. Thanks.

the 03 head unit had a ton of problems with it. take it to honda see what they suggest. that happened to mine as well as the display going out. they replaced it for free when the leds went out because of a recal. especially with the 03 honda, anytime anything goes out check for recalls. that car has a lot of them. just a heads up, you can also get your pressure hose replaced on your power steering there was a recall on that as well as the transmission if you have a 6 cylinder.

So they will replace the recalls for free? Even though its 10 years old?

if it is a recall they will fix it for free. I dont know if your problem falls under the guidelines for the recall. the best thing to do is to check with honda. they paid for half of my transmission when I had it replaced by an outside shop, and they replaced my head unit for free. they replaced my head unit in my 03 in 2010. so it is worth a shot.

i also have the same problem with my 03 accord, but would honda still mess with it if you didn't get it from them?
