2003 Stereo Aux Input - 39175-SDA
My son has a 2003 Accord and he wants an aux input. I'm curious to know:
a) Does anyone have - or can you tell me where to find - the electronic requirements and pinouts for the aux connector for the 39175-SDA-A120-M2 without navigation (radio + CD only)
b) Can anyone tell me what is in all those adapter boxes for sale at $100 per? I'm reluctant to assume there's anything special in those things that is all that complicated.
c) Is there a kit or instructions on how to construct said box?

basically, the head unit needs to see specific loads to know what is connected (changer or SAT). you'd need to probe one of the existing units to know what voltage drop it is looking for on each wire.
