2007 Accord VP - stereo/Parrot/ a/c issue?
I installed a Parrot Bluetooth system in my stock 2007 Accord VP about a year ago. The accord has the stock single ct headset, no navigation, and does not have dual climate control.
I have been experiencing 3 issues:
1. stereo backlight stopped working
2. Parrot turns itself off on occasion
3. a/c stopped working.
I assume the stereo backlight issue is the common issue that requires a new head unit. I'm not to concerned about this.
I don't know why the Parrot turns itself off. I'm pulling the dash apart today to check all the connections on the Crutchfield plug and play wire harness I bought for the accord.
I'm not sure if the a/c has any connection with the stereo - any ideas if the Crutchfield wiring harness would have any issues? The a/c light on the dash comes on, but there is no electricity to the a/c unit itself. All fuses and relays are good. Since I'm taking the dash apart to check the Parrot connections, I figured I'd check the a/c button connections in the dash.
Anyone with ideas on why the Parrot shuts off?
Any ideas on Crutchfield or Parrot wiring having any impact on the a/c?
Thanks!

hmmm. be sure to use your DMM to probe around. relays can and will fail over time. the impact on A/C depends on how the wiring is affecting the A/C. aftermarket plugs and harnesses can fail or lose connection.
using a DMM to probe voltages on wires before and after harnesses will help you track down the issue.
