I was wondering if anyones knows which wire off a 2010 accord without navigation head unit would be the "right output of the soure unit" and "left output of the soure unit" because I recently purchased a IEC AULOC http://i249.photobucket.com/albums/g...G/IMG_4090.jpg and also is there a link thread on taking apart the dash board?

 

depends what you're adding.

if you have this LOC to add subs, i'd go off the rear 6x9 speaker leads - at the speaker. the safest location is at the speaker, so you know you're at the right wires and after any amplification.

if you're replacing your speakers, grab the signal at the speaker wires you're replacing - front or rear.

i typically like to grab the signal at the front speakers, so i can fade to front, making more sound come from in front of me.

 

So the reason it works when I take the leads from the left and right speakers and works for the subwoofers that I want to add into the system using my amp is because there is no stock subwoofer so you're just tapping into the bass sounds the speakers would have normally had to make?
