Was wondering if anyone with a 2012 accord sedan has sound deadened their front doors? My accord has a huge hole in the door skin and I'm not sure what to do about it. I've seen some other year accords and how they've dealt with it, but my door has a much bigger hole to cover. I'm gonna try to post a picture and hopefully someone will have some suggestions on what to do. Thanks

use a piece of rigid material to cover the hole. and then deaden over it.

 

you can get aluminum sheet metal at the hardware store, apply deadening and foam to it, and screw it to the door panel around the opening (use tin snips to make the metal the same size as the opening, but 1" wider on all sides.
