Any secret as to how to import an MP3 CD to the built-in hard disk drive?

I've following the steps in the manual, but the one to import a CD doesn't even show up. Also, the option to delete the current contents of the hard disk aren't where the manual says they should be. Is there some process you have to go through to initialize/format the hard drive before you can use it?

Note that the CD I'm trying to import was burned using iTunes on a Mac and contains ~150 songs from various artists. It plays fine through the CD player, I'd just like to import it to the hard disk since that feature is supposedly included with my car.

Well, I answered my own question.

From a post on another forum I found, it says you can only record from "store bought" CDs. Tried this again with a store bought CD and the record/playback feature works as per the manual.

 

Actually, they will record any CD, store bought or home made.
