You seem to be pretty knowledgeable, so i'm hoping you can help. I have a few issues and concerns. I recently installed a sub and amp keeping the factory head unit. I have unplugged the ANC from the back of the unit. I don't seem to be getting much output from my sub. It has a low pass crossover at 80hz, It seems that the stock head unit has a crossover around or just under 80hz, (is that correct?) It seems that is the case. I have a 2013 Honda Accord Sport, key ignition and no navigation. Can I turn off the DSP with this unit, if not, would replacing the head unit eliminate the issue all together?

Also, a weird issue is when opening the car doors or the trunk the sub will occasionally "blast off" at around 50-60hz until the trunk/doors are closed, and will turn back on with the trunk/doors are reopened (this is with the car off and the keys out of the ignition. I used line level inputs to the amp from the left and right rear speakers. I tapped into them using quick connects in the trunk right next to the speakers. Would a line out converter with a remote resolve this issue, or should I tap into the signal from another location/signal completely? As a back up, I did install a mini add a circuit to connect the remote in case i needed it, or want to and a 4ch amp in the future. The remote is not currently connected to the amp. I know this is a lot. Thanks for any help.
