91 accord eld bypass......
Hi everybody, new to posting on the forum but have been a long time reader. I have found lots of good information on the site.
I am looking to bypass the eld in my 91 accord, I have read some threads about how to do it on a newer vehicle but not on a 91.. Well in case you couldn't tell my vehicle is a 91 Accord EX 5 speed, f22a4 with a6 cam. Nothing special just a little gas saver lol, anyway any help would be most certainly appreciated thank you guys

The information is essentially at the first "sticky" at the top of this forum section. From reading that sticky thread.
Do at your risk!!!
1. Cut Green/Red wire from ELD to PCM.
2. The half of Green/Red wire coming from the PCM (ELD Unit Input) goes to the POLE of the toggle switch (12VDC SPST Toggle Switch).
3. The other half of the Green/Red wire from the ELD (Load Output) goes to THROW 1 of the switch; the POLE would be switched to this THROW to have ELD to work normally.
4. THROW 2 goes through an 820-ohm resistor to the black ELD ground wire at the plug; switching to this THROW would bypass the ELD and cause the alternator to turn on and charge the battery all the time. – Important: “Do not ground this resistor to chassis ground. “
