I'm shopping for a remote start kit for my accord, i'm looking to spend 250 bucks tops. Does anyone got any advice? I've always wanted one of these and finally decided to get one when i saw a friend of mine start his car from 4 blocks away, considering my remote wont even open my car if im further then 15ft away, i was impressed. I got a few questions though, when it starts the car , does the car remain locked? Because that's a must feature for me.

 

Look into Compustar or Directed Electronics (Clifford, Viper, Hornet, etc.). You'll only be able to get the remote start for that much, install will probably run another $150-250.
