My son has a 98 LX the dash lights went there are no ilumination lihts in the dash area the idoit lights all work.
the all the Park - Drive lights work until you turn on the headlights then they go out.
also the a/c lights work and then go dim whaen you turn on the the headlights.
i tried to ohm out the dimmer do not seam to be getting anything also did the back jump the red wire on the clock when i di that the drive lights at least stayed on but were dim like the a/c lights.

mine did that too its jus a short that all 98s have the only thng that may help is a new bigger altenator that seem to help mine but mine still dim a lil bit and really does when i go to roll a window up or down.
