Question Accord 06 Navi System

Hello,

We have an 06 Accord and the navigation display is not working. We are hoping it is only a fuse. I would appreciate any information on how to know which fuse is for the navi system. In the diagram showing the fuses there is none labeled Navigation or anything remotely close to it.

I am driving from Florida to Maryland in 2 weeks and need to fix this. I appreciate your help more than you know!

Thanks!
Patty D

either a fuse or a bad display. i would suspect the display to share power with the radio, but i haven't dissected a 2006 to know for sure.

if you have the CODE for the radio (card in glove box with a 5 digit number), then disconnect battery negative (with dome light on/door open) and let sit for a few minutes to reset the radio.

next, to diagnose the fuse you want a service manual (i like Haynes) in order to know what fuse the screen uses. it is a good idea to have a service manual on a road trip anyway so you can handle roadside repairs if necessary (i also travel with a metric socket and wrench set). luckily, a Honda just requires 8mm - 14mm for most everything. larger socket sizes are for suspension parts.
