Default Accord HFT set up / pairing

Hi,
anyone had any dealings with the HFT setup for an Accord 2.2 cdti executive?
Just bought the car `56 plate estate and when trying yesterday, got all the right noises and prompts when trying to pair a phone but just wouldn`t pair at all. Tried again today and cannot even get into set up mode.
Any help appreciated and any advice on which phones are compatible would help too..
Cheers
Andy

1956 was not a year for the 2.2 cdti accord.

You`re obviously not in the UK then. A `56 plate over here is 2006.

As I said in the reply you`re obviously not in the UK or that would have been common knowledge and would need no further explanation.....
