Default Accord stock radio compatibility

I was just wondering if anyone here knows whether a stock radio from other accord or civic model yearswould fit into a 1992 Honda Accord LX. I was thinking of buying like a 2000 stock CD player radio off of ebay so I can just plug it into the existing slot.

Do other models also have a similar footprint to fit into my car?

Thanks in advance.

Why not a cheap aftermarket? You can get one for $30 on ebay or online stores. Unless the radio looks identical, 99% sure it won't fit. And if it does look identical then I'm 90% it will fit. Aftermarket is worth the extra few bucks.

Id say the same, aftermarket will make your stock speakers sound better too.. if they are decent stocks, take a look at crutchfield, they can help u find the right fit for ur car, wit the harness and everyhing
