So you're pushing 1200 watts? Please gimme some more info on your set up, i'll try checking out your cardomain though .. (I checked briggz, no help, some details would be nice lol)

My subs are each 1200 watts. So I have 2400 watts. My amp is a competition Premier amp which is rated at 400 rms, but I would be surprised if it was actually anywhere near that low. I have to keep the gain turned way down in order to not overpower the speakers, haha. But yeah, I have a cheap-*** line converter from ebay, that hasn't gone bad yet (over a year later) so don't be fooled into spending 50 bucks on one. I'm not sure what guage my power wire is, but I can check that out and get back to you in a bit. But yeah, I've been in cars that bump... and mine bumps harder, promise. Haha.
Sweet, i was more interested in what kind of mods you did to your car such as battery, big 3 etc. So you're just running a line out converter with the bass on the stock system turned way down? Cool.

Nothing big at all. No new battery... nothing. ONLY thing I've ever noticed is my high beams will dim very slightly on heavy bass hits when the volume is cranked. This never happens to my low beams, and never when the volume is reasonable.

That's pretty good especially for 2400 watts. I think I will get all the neat extras like the battery, but if I really wanted to cut corners I could probably cut my costs down by $300 just by going with a prefab box, such as this,

My subs say they need 1.75 cubic feet each for a ported enclosure, and most of these pre-fab boxes are much too small

Oh, and sorry to double post but,

I've been reading a lot of the older threads and a lot of people mention how the Honda head unit uses 2 microphones to help it give better sound, would these mess with my sub install? what are the negative effects of disabling them, and where are they located/what do they look like? Thanks.
