Aftermarket sub amp to factory radio?

I knew for a fact that they called Honda, because i was standing right there when they called. The people at honda said that the premium audio sends a louder to the speakers whenever you accelerate for some reason (i dont remember) and told the people to try doing A loc on the factory sub, which we did and it worked, but yes it is a band aid for a bad system, but it actually sounds good because i have a nice sub and amp, but since this guy has the same car with the premium audio, he has to either hook it up to the factory sub. Doing a loc on the rear speakers is not a option in the newer honda accord.
