I wasnt necessarily arguing with you kha, I am sure you know more about the tuning than I. I was just speaking generally suggested airspace is higher on a vented box.

also what a meter reads is not always the same as how a system is interpreted by the ear. a system doing the same number at a lower frequency, at least to me, seems much louder.
