Bose Stereo System on 93 Accord SE
1993 Honda Accord SE with stock Bose stereo.
Problem: I can't get anything on the display. It doesn't show lights of any kind. No numbers, radio stations, no sound, nothing, completely black/blank.
The radio works and the antenna goes up and down.
This is what I have done so far;
- Check all the fuses by the steering wheel and under the hood.
- Reset the system by leaving the car ignition on ACC for about and hour or so, re-entered the Code ( did not work) still no display
- Reset the system by removing the battery connector for 20 minutes, reconnected and power the car and stereo system up, re-entered the code (nothing.)
Does anyone have other ideas, that might help to solve this problem?
I also have been reading that this system has a fuse on the HU itself, is this correct? If so, Where is it located and how can I checked this fuse?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.....

Those displays can and do fail - especially after 17 years.
It is probably broken. You have three options:
1. find an electronics repair shop that is willing to attempt a repair
2. find an exact replacment factory head unit - junk yards, ebay, etc.
3. buy an aftermarket radio and get an OEM interface so you properly feed the Bose amplifier a low level signal from RCA outputs (PAC-Audio or USA-Spec sells the interface)
