ah. European Bose system.
short answer - no. you don't want to just slap a head unit in. with Bose systems, it's best to do all or nothing. all means new head unit and new speakers all around. new speakers can be powered by the head unit, or you can gain more volume and clarity by adding an external amplifier to power the speakers. front speakers should be component speakers - separate woofer and tweeter. it is ok to use factory speaker locations.
some companies have made HU interfaces for adding an aftermarket HU to a factory Bose system. but they are US products as far as I've seen. I am not sure of compatibility with European models.
pac-audio.com is one manufacturer of interfaces.
