Cd player queries help!

Default Cd player queries help!

Hey guys I've just currently bought a x reg Honda accord 2.0 vtec se executive, it currently has the cassette player in the front with disc changer in the boot, I was wondering is it easy to put a aftermarket cd player in and can I connect it to the Bose system any help would be appreciated guys thank you

What year is your UK Accord....I'm guessing you are over seas based upon the wording used

ah. European Bose system.

short answer - no. you don't want to just slap a head unit in. with Bose systems, it's best to do all or nothing. all means new head unit and new speakers all around. new speakers can be powered by the head unit, or you can gain more volume and clarity by adding an external amplifier to power the speakers. front speakers should be component speakers - separate woofer and tweeter. it is ok to use factory speaker locations.

some companies have made HU interfaces for adding an aftermarket HU to a factory Bose system. but they are US products as far as I've seen. I am not sure of compatibility with European models.

pac-audio.com is one manufacturer of interfaces.
