i had my autopage alarm and starter installed for 150. my buddy has an 06 si. had a compustaralarm and starter done for 500

 

$500 + the cost of the alarm?

I'm curious, what is it that makes paying $150 or $500 for something that is fairly simple? Do they cover you're ignition harness with braided stainless steel to prevent tampering? It's really only about 25 splices and you're done.

 

well this was a couple years back. i thought 150 was a fair price for an alarm and remote start installation. the 500 was the cost of labor and part. it was hard b/c they had to bypass the clutch and all these safety features.
