I have a 06' Accord. At the bottom of my radio and climate control is a big glove compartment. The opening of which is about 7". I'd like to put a 7" touch screen in there and connect a GPS unit to it. I don't want to use it for music or movies, mainly navigation. Below is an example of what i want, but this guy put in a LOT of money. I'm looking for a cheap alternative. But still a little nicer than a window mounted GPS put down there. Anyone know of a cheap touchscreen and a GPS system i can connect to it?

 

His i believe is an Alpine double-din unit with the navi add-on. That is his radio/CD player as well. Its really your only option unless you find a large portable GPS unit like a Garmin or Magellin that has a large enough screen to fit what you want. Still going to be spending a decent amount of money.
