Question HELP 2006 Honda Accord EX Radio

Just bought a 2006 Honda Accord EX-L and it came with an aftermarket Pioneer cd/,mp3 player below the OEM stock radio with cd player.

How do I play the stock OEM radio with steering wheel controls as oppose to playing the aftermarket Pioneer radio below?

Please advise:

Thanks

you will have to pull the dash apart and unplug the aftermarket deck and plug in the factory deck. should be simple just unplug one and plug the factory wires into the factory unit. the problem however you will probably run into is that the factory headunit is malfunctioning in some way. those units arent great and that was the most common reason for installing an aftermarket unit below the factory one.

you can get the PAC-Audio SWI-Jack (or similar) if the Pioneer is compatible with steering wheel control adapters. then the steering wheel controls can run the aftermarket headunit.

if you want your lower pocket back, you can buy a dash kit that also replaces the A/C controls.
