Help replacing the tweeters on a 2003
if your looking for great quality stuff, get a set of speakers, tweeters, and crossovers. The crossovers split the sound coming in towards the speakers specifically for those speakers and those tweeters. getting different speakers (although they sound fine) isnt necissarily optimal, and it doesnt broadcast all different levels at the same amount.
I say either get the stock pioneer speakers (at least mine came stock with pioneer's... idk about yours) or get an entire set of speakers, tweenters, and xovers.

i installed rainbow CMX kick comps in my 03. search my threads. in one of them i explained in detail how to do a component install with new wireing. wireing through drivers door was a challenge, but i figured out a way
not sure if i metioned what i did with the tweets, but inshort i simply removed the stocks, cut out the plastic holding them, then hot glued the new tweets in place.

well i added 4 aftermarket tweeters to my system..
just wired it straight into the harness..
but a good place to really hide them besides drilling a hole into your door panel,
in the center console above the factory stereo are two a/c vents.
remove the vents and drill the tweeters into thur..
thats wat i did and its sounds great.
