how do i install 6.5" speakers in front doors of a 90 accord

Cool how do i install 6.5" speakers in front doors of a 90 accord

i have a 1990 honda accord EX 2 door. Does anybody know how i can install 6.5" speakers in my front doors because the factory are 4" speakers i know that is a big jump but i want to upgrade. Can anybody help me please and Thank You

anything is possible with enough money and fabrication skills.

you'll need to modify the door panel and build a new mounting baffle. note that mounting depth will determine how far out the new speakers need to come.

Got a metal grinder? cut an approximate hole in the door thats about 7.5 to 8 inches in diameter and then make a baffle to mount your speaker in. Easy. Just make sure your back of your speaker isnt hitting the window when it rolls down all the way. Been there done that tore the speaker.

I'm in the same position right now. We're you able to install your speakers? If so, how?

the common way to get larger speakers is to get a Q-Logic kit. The Q-Form QL 6003c should fit your car and be and optimal location.
