Default how to install an auxiliary input

My stereo has been stolen for the forth time. I don't want to have a stereo anymore, i just want to have a jack where i can plug in my mp3 player and be able to hear it through the car speakers. Does anyone know how to do that? Thanks

I've moved this to the Audio Section for better answers.

this will do it
NVX XEQ7 1/2 DIN 7-Band Equalizer w/2 Aux Input, Sub Control
but how to makes it work, depends on how you are running your speakers.
what year is the accord. that is where we will start. chances are you are going to need to buy the eq and an amplifier, and some wire.

yea just get you a basic amp 4 channel amp and hook it up to your speakers and that eq and you will have a stereo run from your phone. you can put it all in your glove box and no one will know you even have a radio at all.

i have put head units in glove boxes for this very reason.

yes you can use an mp3 player and a small amp or powered EQ. you need to wire a toggle switch to turn off the amp in this order - amp on last, amp off first.

I found a decent guide to installing an Aux jack here:

I hope this helps!

Those things you suggested getting are pricey. Any cheaper options out there?

I saw a head unit at best buy yesterday, it's a double din touchscreen, i forget the model but I'm pretty sure Pioneer makes it. It basically serves as a control center for an outside device like Iphone. Has apps, pandora, mp3, etc. I think it was like $200.
