i have been searching for the past few hours tonight and weeks on end for a double din that allows for dual climate controls. i found one that supposively does but it is made and sold in another country. when the website was translated to english it was done poorly and i could tell really what was going on.

has anyone ever found a double din that will work with the climate controls in the 03 accord? it doesnt matter if it is touchscreen, only comes with dvd and what not and is 500 plus dollars. i just want to know if it is out there so that i can start saving up for it if it does exist.

You can buy a new plastic bezel that provides manual climate controls. Electronic controls integrated in the electronics are more tricky. You roll the dice without them. I believe Rosen has a product for around two grand.

alright thanks again. i was reading through and it was saying that the climate control couldnt be converted to a dash kit if the car came stock with a 6 disc changer. is this true?

 

It is more if the controls are digital.

 

by digital do you mean the display is digital or the controls themselves?

 

digital controls through the display. there may be a product for a couple hundred bucks that recreates the digital controls, i haven't seen it.
