Hello everyone! I'm new to the Accord and new to this forum. I just bought my 2005 Accord EXF last night. I'm so excited to finally have it. My problem is the navigation screen has dirt/film on it. It seems to be under the screen. Is there a plastic part that sits over the navigation screen for protection? Maybe some cleaning solution got between the plastic? Can I take it apart and clean it without breaking something?

The simple answer here is that there is indeed two layers to the navigation screen.

The complex answer... you will need to remove the entire head unit from the dash in order to get behind and clean the second layer.

Perhaps I will create a PDF to do this once I have some spare time...
