I have a 2013 Honda Accord LX and I am trying to install subwoofers but am having trouble. With my prior accord, I used an inline output converter wired to the rear deck speakers then to my amp. For the remote wire, I spliced it with the possitive lead to one of the rear deck speakers so the amp would turn on when the speakers got power, which was when I turned on the radio. The problem I am facing is that i believe due to the car having bluetooth, the rear deck speakers have constant power even with the radio off. WHen I tried to do the same setup as i did with my prior accord, the subs stay on without the radio on, causing them to go off when not needed throughout my drive. Does anyone have any tips on how to put subs in a 2013 Accord LX? or at least where I can easily run the remote wire?
