Question New car, new problems

I've finally returned to the forum after a 6 year hiatus when I sold my old '89 Accord. I just recently found a '87 LX-i hatchback in pretty good shape after I gave it a good cleaning so its time to get it fixed up! My first issue is that when I connect a battery to this engine that has been sitting for about 10 years, the driver's side condenser fan comes on and i'm not sure why, even with the ignition key off. I do have a video but I cant upload it. I can only get it to turn off by unhooking the battery or pulling the round HVAC relay in the engine bay fuse box.

Any help is appreciated

For that fan issue, it could be a sticky relay or a short causing it to stay on, especially after sitting so long.

I figured it out after getting the car roadworthy. The fan always comes on when you reconnect a battery to the system. If you cycle the key, its fine from then on
