i have an 89 accord lxi it is a 5 speed and sometimes it turns over about 4 or 5 times then sounds like the battery is strained i got my battery and alternater checked and they said they were fine and it has a brand new starter please help

 

have you made sure that your battery connections are not corroded and are connected securely?

Double check any earth straps for corrosion. Also check they are all tight.

 

Is it making a clicking noise or any strange noises when it doesn't start? did you replace the starter and cylenoid or just the starter?
