Hi guys, I'm new here and was looking for a place to post up a problem that has been bothering me that I can't fix. Yesterday I finally got around to installing some new guage faces in my 1995 honda accord, the installation went relatively smoothly and they look pretty good. I took off the white plate on top of the guage panel that holds 2 LED's in it and cut the wires and taped them up (I think this might be part of my problem?) Anyway, I put everything back together, guages work fine, and my dimmer switch isn't working. My instrument panel doesn't light up from behind and also my headlights do not chime when I turn off the car and open the door. I have tried a few different things to try and fix it but I can't figure out anything. We also kinda fidled with the dimmer relay, thinking maybe we could hook the guages into there, could that also be part of the problem? Any help is greatly appreciated on this, its really driving me nuts. Thanks!
