Alright folks, went to a salvage yard and picked up a dimmer which took care of my dash lighting problem. Now I've a strange question: Which way do you turn the dimmer in YOUR car to brighten, and which way to dim? Ie; mine seems to be reversed - turning left brightens, turning right dims. Seems backward, maybe?

Yep, to the left it gets brighter....

I know an engineer that worked for Ford in the 60's.....I think it is the '67 F-100's, wonder why the ign switch is to the left of of the steer wheel, well he is left handed so to him that is where it should be
