Default New Ride/New Sound

I just purchased a 2011 Accord Coupe (2 months old) and just didn’t like the sound system of the car. So like a lot of others I’m keeping the stock HU and upgrading and adding as needed. Here’s what I have done so far.
1. Replaced fronts with Alpine Type R 60c
2. Replaced rears with Alpine Type R 60
3. Dynamated both doors (heavy) and rear deck in trunk.
Next stage is adding a Alpine X-Power MRX V60, Audiocontrol LC6i, and a Alpine Type R SWR-1043D 10” sub.
As of right now I can definitely tell a difference in the sound, better, but I can’t wait to amp those Type R’s. So here are the questions I have are.
1. Do I need the LC6i, will it really make a difference?
2. Will the Type R’s provide enough Bass to not need the sub?
Thanks,

the 6 pairs of outputs would make a difference I am sure. I have never used one but normally the more adjustment you have the better. that would allow you to adjust each channels input individually.

whether or not the speakers provide enough bass is a preference that is up to you. but mids will never get as low as subs. if you like low bass you will need a sub.

I'm leaning pretty hard to the sub. This is my first time to go all out on a car audio system, now as for my Home theater, well that's another story....LOL

I like bass. I feel stereo's are incomplete without a sub. if you like a sub in your home I am sure you would like it in your car.

if you are only going to run one sub and you want a type r I would get the dual 8 ohms instead of the dual 4 and wire it to 4 ohms. but that is just me.

Sounds like you have a good plan. You want a nice OEM interface like the Audio Control so you can get the best signal into the amps. Any tuning features adds flexibility and control,
