I recently bought a used 06 EX-L with nav and XM. I am looking for options for adding iPod (iPhone actually) to it. FM modulations is out due to sound quality, but I don't care about losing the XM. I have done some searching but somewhat confused, can I remove a storage and plug a cable into HU backside?

Don't know for sure because of the navi, but with the regular unit there are interfaces that will work with your ipod. Since your unit is XM ready it will even display the ipod text, but you may lose the XM. Although I think there is one that allows you to keep the XM.
