actually i wanna correct myself and say that its the MRP F300 its rms is 75 watts per channel so should i still upgrade? i can still take back the amp and replace it. but i did find all the grounds and they're really shattly done. should i go through each one and do a better job at taking the paint off?

Definitely get rid of that paint, paint is an insulator. If it is really 75w RMS then you should be fine, make sure it is RMS though.

Yeah those number are accurate. That's a very good amp, I love alpines new D class line. I have a marine version on my boat.

EDIT: Oh wait that's not the PDX, still a good amp it's just A/B and not digital.

alright i'm going to give that paint thing a try tomorrow in the daylight and see where it gets me. i would assume i should mess around with the gain dials on the line out converter as a test?

Don't adjust the gains on the LOC. Set them as low as possible and leave them. Adjust them if there is a balance problem, but adjust the gains at the amps. That amp is just fine, those PDXs are expensive. I'm running two a/b amps which isn't the best thing to do, but I slowly put my system together. So that's how it ended up lol.

well like the gain on the amps is set at like 3/4 and the guy told me not to turn it past that or i could damage the speakers.

I don't like to go past half on an amp, so I guess you have to turn up the gains on the LOC. But first clean up those grounds and make sure you have good continuity before you adjust anything. Once you know your wiring is solid adjust it as necessary, but don't go past half on the amp gains to be safe.
