Lol dude I have no idea. If the sub sounds good now, then I wouldn't do anything. But if it goes back to how it sounded before, turn that gain down on the LOC for the sub.

theres not gain on the LOC for the sub theres a seperate thing that doesn't have gain on it. i swear, i need all of this LOC crap out of my car

Lol I understand, I don't think I lasted 3 weeks with the stock headunit.

Ok I need details on what the RCA for the subs are connected to? What do you mean separate thing? I would have ran one LOC for the speakers and one for the sub.

yeah, gah i wish i could just g out there and take pics now. theres a LOC for the speakers that has gain for each speaker. then theres a long oval shaped thing that is connected to the LOC as far as i know or to the HU i cna't be positive right now but its definitely aftermarket, i remember buying it.

Hmmm it may be a LOC without an adjustable gain I guess. Tomorrow take a picture of it and make sure there isn't a little door or something on it. And a pic of your gain and settings on the sub amp if possible.

i'm just going to go all out and take pictures of everything? hahahah its going to be as if your in my car. i've made the decision never to go to best buy for anything in my life regarding car audio

Even if an installer were to have done everything right, it's still not good to not know what is going on. Installing the system your self really gives you a sense of what is going on. But it's not too late to just read and learn, but for me at least that's not as easy.

EDIT: Also the later it gets the more stoned I am, I have mild insomnia and I fight it every night lol
