Hi,

New to the forum. I just took over my brothers 2005 Accord EX 4 Cyl.

The radio reception is just awful on it. The FM is ok but the AM is just static. I can't get anything out of it.

I called the dealership where we got it from and they $59 to run a diagnostic on it.

I thought I would ask you guys first, maybe save a few bucks.

Only thing I know about the radio in the 7th gen, is the antenna is built into the rear windshield. I would check and make sure the wire back there didn't get unplugged. It should be a plug similar to the defroster, but I really don't know. It is also possible it got unplugged behind the radio. Other than that I really don't know, I've never even use the radio to begin with.
