My daughter just bought her first car 2005 accord ex with nav. The radio reception in this car is terrible cd works great and the gps. What can I check for on this unit as far as connections. And how is the antenna wire ran through the car to the antenna I think at the back window?. Does it have any kind of single booster?? Any advice on what I can check.

 

The antenna cable plugs into the back of the radio. You can check that the antenna is plugged in securely.

 

Any tips on how to get to the back of the radio??

 

Search for v=4yP3YGCtQ_I on YouTube. Once you get the pocket removed under the radio, you should be able to reach up and find the antenna connection.

Thanks to everyone who posted I was able to fix the problem by the u-tube video.I found a disconnected antenna wire it rocks one happy daughter now.
