replacing radio - suggestions?

it's not so much money for equipment, it's time for installation and money for materials. it's all about the installation. i mostly use cheap materials (wood, resin, foam) and an assortment of standard tools. i admit sound deadening is pricey, but totally worth it. i'd rather spend less on speakers to afford sound deadening.

having a workshop makes this all easier. i'm lucky enough to have a garage where i can strip cars apart and build whatever i need.
