Question Sat nav disc

Hi everyone, just joined the sight and this is my first posting on probably a widely discussed topic.
I want to upgrade my sat nav from 2003, without going to main dealer for obvious reasons, question is what is the difference between the disk versions for e.g ver 2.07 and 3.06 are they for different units i.e touch/non touch screen, voice or non voice activated. are there any websites that list all these different models and numbers etc
These disk are obtainable through other sources but one would need to be careful that they obtained the right compatible disk or problems could arise with the unit. The Honda dealer told me that when you put in the new disk it wipes the Info from the old, so, another question is, if that happened could you revert back to the old disk?

Wink Hello Steve

I moved this over here to where you might get a faster answer.
Watch which forums you post in.

You can revert to the old. You have to press a few buttons on the head unit simultaneously to get it to do it, but it can be done.
