Satnav issue

Exclamation Satnav issue

Hi all, newbie here with a question, I have a 2005 accord sport and wanted to now if its possible to play DVDs on a factory sat nav as my car does not have the satnav but I wanted to by a unit to play DVDs on as I am not bothered if the nav dont work. If not is there a unit out there that its possible to install that dont look crap. Thanks in advance for your help, David

Nope, the SATNAV DVD drive will only play the SATNAV DVDs, I've already tried

I'm not sure if THIS will work as there is no one spesific for Honda. It does say universal, I would email them and ask. You can also search for another brand, maybe they have one. And Brandon they have one for the MDX if your stepdad doesn't get rid of it. Also I could barely read and understand your post, if you don't have the stock navi then this would be just about the most expensive and stupidest way of doing what you want.

EDIT: Well I guess you don't have the stock navi already, so unless you have $1000 or more to drop on the OEM navi and the interface your stuck with a single DIN flip out. You have to get the metra kit that replaces the stock HU, and what ever in dash you like. If your below the $600 price range, get nothing but a Valor. All those other cheap indashes are complete crap. While the valor isn't all that either, still worth the $400-$500. Stay away form those no name brands on ebay!

a guy likes oem crap and has the lx and wanted the navi installed. 1500 dollars later he got it.

No thanks, I'll save the $380 and go sit in the back and enjoy mah movies in 5.1 sound

Same size screen front and back too... 7" diag.

Hahah.. true. I hate that Bose "premium" sound system. MY car sounds better, and my system sucks.

I don't even know where or if it even has a center channel...
