So im looking to upgrade my speakers, i know the frontis 6 1/2, and rear is 6X9. but i cant seem to find install instructions. do you have to remove the door panel? what would you guys recomend for speakers around 40-50 bucks? are these decent speakers? Thanks, im trying to learn this car audio stuff, any help is appriciated.

Those speakers have a metal coated tweeter and a plastic cone. Try Alpine SPS-17C2's they have a aluminum coated poly cone andsilk tweeters for a softer, but cleaner sound.

EDIT: Those speakers also have a cloth surround, whereas the Alpine's have a rubber surround.

what kind of sound are you looking for?do you clear?thump?bass?because let me tell you something i work for best buy and alphine speakers are some serious A** speakers yo...and they arent cheap neither well at least for you as a customer me as a worker i get 75% percent off of all car audio...but if you looking for those real good alphine speakers you looking at 200 for each pair..just thought you should know cuz i saw you talking about you spent 50 dollars...just wanted to give you the heads up

okay, you want some instructions on how to install the speakers, well its very simple really, i did it on my 99 accord coupe, should be about the same for you, just take the door panels off the front and take the covers off the speakers in the rear, that should be accsesable through the trunk area. if you want more detail just ask me :-D
