speaker size in a 1990 accord sedan

Default speaker size in a 1990 accord sedan

yeah I know this sounds noobish and whatnot ..but I need to know the size of the door speakers in the front doors..they need replacing and it sucks just having back speakers :/

go to crutchfield.com and they have a fitment guide.... that's the easiest way.... I think they are 5 1/2's (guessing off the top of my head) but I don't know how much depth you've got....check the website

You won't really know until you take off the inner door panels and look - Crutchfield's guide told me there were 6 1/2 inchers in the doors of my '91 LX sedan, but when Itook the door panels off, I found 5 1/4 inch spaces (that the car's previous owner had stuck 3X5 ovals into sideways!) - whichever speakers you have, make sure that the replacement speakers have a pretty shallow mounting depth or you may have to cut out the backs of the factory baffles to get the magnets to fit - and there you run the risk of the windows hitting the backs of the speakers when you roll them down.

I have the 92 LX sedan and all 4 speaker are 6.5"
