Default SPEAKER SIZE

What size are the speakers in the 2006 honda accord vp?, it only came with 2 front speakers, I want to purchase rear speakers but dont know the size, I looked in the Manuals and the quick start guide and dont see anythiong about it. Also would it be easy to install once I get the rears?

crutchfield.com and find what fits my car. Also you can see what styles of speakers fit (slim, tweeters not protruding etc...).

6X9's in the rear but you may have to drill some new holes in the rear shelf to mount them. Some that say "direct fit" at Crutchfield still need a bit of work to fit properly.

I bought Pioneers 6x9's from Best Buy (clearance) and the fit right in. I was worried about the lenght of the screws but they fit perfectly. On the driver's side I was able to get all 4 screws in without problem but on the passengers side I could only get 3 in. Mind you this was in the dark and 25 degs out. The wiring was there for the speakers and the connections have a cover on them. I was able to remove the covers and pinch the wires in place for a temp install. I just recvered the connections to hold them there. What a difference in the sound from just the 2 speakers.
