I have a 2004 Honda Accord EX. The car has 300+ thousand miles but has been treated well and has given me good service. The stereo recently started flipping from the CD to the FM radio when the CD changer changed to a different CD. The CD player won't play at all and flips to AM then FM when I mash the CD button on the player. Anyone got any advice on solving the problem or is the unit just toast?

 

Those units fail often and after 300k mi. i'm shocked it lasted that long. well done.

replacement with aftermarket is recommended. there are dash kits that recreate the A/C controls.
