Default Tapping into rear speakers for LOC

Hello. I've tried searching for information but haven't had much luck. I'm planning to install a line out converter to tap into the factory speakers on an 8th gen lx. I want to connect the line out while doing minimal damage to the factory cables. Is there a suggested way to do this? I thought of using a scotchlok or ttap but not sure if that would be a good idea. I have the factory 6 speaker system. Thanks for any help.

the best way to tap factory wiring is as follows:

after soldering, insulate the connection with electrical tape - i only use 3M Super 33+ or Super 88.

always solder your connections, taps damage the conductors and fail over time.
