XM FM Direct Pics
It's been a while, but this... I couldn't not share. Hereis apic of my install. My camera's batteries died before getting the final product pic.
I hope this helps someone else, because I had a hard time finding anything on whether or not the FM direct would work... basically I was worried that the OE radio had a multiple wire connection for the antenna (instead of the standard 'Motorola' style plug). Keep in mind this ison my 2004, I was told that the antenna plug style changed in '05.
I was pleasantly surprised with the ease of this install.
This website helped me with the removal of the necessary panels.

Hereit it. Please don't notice the dirt.

RE: XM FM Direct Pics
Here are some more pics. I decided not to run through the trunk, then under carpet/interior panels as this was a major PITA in my Camaro.
The red line implies the wire. its hard to see in this one.

HereI tucked the wire under what I call the 'rain-channel'. Appearently there was plenty of room under it, because it layed back flush against the roof.

This is virtually unnoticable. I couldn't think of a way to cross over without pinching the wire. You can't just pull the weatherstripping off, run the wire across the ridge and reinstall weatherstripping. This will definately pinch the wire.

When it was all done I had about 3 feet of extra wire, so run that thing however you want... it'll probably reach.

RE: XM FM Direct Pics
So heres the final pic. We only used the cubby for pens, mail, bills, and the occasional pack of smokes. All of that will still fit pretty well. Not to mention... it's easily hidden when the cubby's closed.
